Ansuhua Biswas is a research scholar, pursuing her Phd in Computational Biology from CSIR-NCL, Pune, India in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Process Development. She has completed her Masters degree in Computer Applications form Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2016 and joined NCL in the same year as a Project Assistant working with Dr Leelavati Narlikar. Prior to this, she had completed her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. She uses this interdisciplinary knowledge to study and solve problems in biological systems. Her areas of interest include application of Machine learning techniques to solve complex problems. She is interested in working towards building computational and statistical frameworks to gain insights into the functions of different elements of the genome using heterogeneous datasets.
